XBOX ONE REVEALED

Know the drill, especially if you tuned in for the Sony Playstation 4 reveal again in February 2013. Gets announced a new console and extends to the details - some accurate, others not so much - and then once the shine wears Declaration, and a barrage of inevitable questions begin. For each answer, and Microsoft gave us with the disclosure of the Xbox and one on May 21, there seems to be a new question raised. A few of these may dog the system even closer to its release later this year, but we probably will have more answers in the coming weeks before E3, where Xbox will own one share of the limelight.

For now though, we are left to wonder and we sort through Microsoft detection and analysis of the holes left in what has been released.

Along with questions Microsoft has yet to respond, and there were conflicting reports that amount to even more questions unanswered. Let's try to cut through some of the misinformation and I set big unknowns are going to E3.

Devices

All questions floating around, those relating to the Xbox hardware is the one most directly - and to many of the most important. First: pricing. The cost of the Xbox and one remains the big question, of course. While we know there will be multiple packages at different price points, and we do not yet know what the differences between those packages are going to be. All we know so far is that each SKU will be packaged with one Xbox itself, the controller, Kinect. Microsoft is considering a 500GB hard drive to be the standard model, but that does not mean it will be the only size available.

There could be a model with more storage? Or some other "deluxe" package in the works that provide more value for more money? What about the issue, such as the Xbox 360 "corridor" the current model with a smaller hard drive? These deals tend to be the status quo, but with a new console generation later this year launch (sorry, Nintend0), and there is certainly room for the status quo to be disrupted.

We also have no sense yet when the Xbox one will be released "later this year." Traditionally, the new keyboards from three big hit stores in November, in time for the shopping rush after Thanksgiving and the lucrative holiday season. That time of year already loaded with versions assured of some of the biggest franchises in gaming: Batman: Origins ARKHAM is out on October 25, battlefield 4 and Assassin's Creed IV: black flag on both launch on 29 October, Call of Duty: Ghosts bulletins on Nov. 5, the new property dogs Watch published on November 19, and E3 is certainly a lot more confirmation of that window release. These are the games that launches new keyboards with.

Can Xbox and one - and PlayStation 4, for that matter - to be hitting stores even before Halloween? PlayStation 2, which was launched in the United States on October 26, 2000, so there is a precedent.

Then there is always a sticky situation used games. Survey Microsoft's Larry "Major Nelson" Hryb. Questions about how to deal with the console and games previously owned ... Sort of. He also wrote Hryb, "While there were many possible scenarios that are discussed, and today we have just confirmed that we designed Xbox and one to enable our customers to trade in games and sold at retail."

Then he added, "the last piece of clarification about playing at a friend's house - should you choose to play the game at the home of a friend, there is no fee to play that game when you log in to your profile."

We received a similar comment from Microsoft's Craig Davison, senior director of global marketing for Xbox. "All I can say is that we support that day. More details soon, he said," to us. We are currently waiting for clarification, but it is not likely to happen until E3.

So it's half the answer. The games will be used work, and you do not need to pay anything if you want to play your own game on your personal page at a friend's house. What if that same friend wants to borrow for a game? Hryb's assertion that there is no fee attached to play on your profile remotely means that there is a fee if you try to run it on another mode. Electronic Arts recently dumped Bass Program Online curse often, it seems, because "many of the players did not respond to the form" and so EA "listened to the feedback." You can have a rather because the next generation of platforms build capacity to prevent unauthorized use of games right in the box?

Online service

Initial reports indicate that Microsoft is not messing with the program very much on the front Xbox Live. Gold pricing will remain the same, based on what was said digital trends, although it is less clear what an annual fee actually pays for. There is pressure on Nevertheless, with gold in its current form is no longer being as competitive as it was before.

Sony has stepped up even in the current generation with a subscription service that offers easily trumps Microsoft. Against the payment of services such as Netflix does not require a paid subscription as they do on the Xbox 360, and PS subscribers in addition to the regular enjoy discounts and free games. Microsoft has a stronger social integration with features such as chat party - something that Sony's technically not confirm the PS4 - but the truth is that you have a $ 60 annual fee does not pay for as far as it once did.

One would think - even hope - that Microsoft recognizes this and embraces change for Xbox Live Gold. Will Untethering for payment of services from the requirement to be a good start gold tremendously. Messaging cocktail mirror Sony game would be a smart move as well, but even the market discounts Xbox Live will be a boost. In short, Microsoft needs to provide the best value for your gold subscription.

There is a very good chance that both Sony and Microsoft are waiting for the other to make the first move when it comes to online pricing. Sony has yet to make sure that it will offer similar free online experience with the PS4. In fact it may frustratingly vague on this subject. Despite the end of the day, and will be one of these companies have to blink.

It is also unclear what the company's plans are for the ownership of the Microsoft Points currency repeatedly criticized that all market shoppers Xbox Live must convert their dollars in regular. The fact that no one from the company would comment at all on MS points is encouraging. We hope to be rid of a funny MS money out, even though we have to wait until at least E3 to emphasize this point.

Then there is the market itself. We got a sense of the presentation of Windows 8 dashboard-inspired menu interface is similar to the forefront of the current Xbox 360, and upgraded only to work with the new technology Xbox one. Visually, Xbox Live new market is likely to be involved aesthetic and modern user interface. The biggest question related content. We will see more launches day and date in the "Games on Demand" section? "Xbox Live Indie Games" content would be easier to find and sort through? The expectation is that we'll be seeing UI console at E3, so you should know more in a few weeks.

Games

Microsoft's focus multimedia focused on the Xbox and one is clear. Games accounted for a fraction of this event, while features such as cable TV and integration partnerships and major media took center stage. Apparently, he had enough of Microsoft's faith in the library of games on offer for the first time in all parts of the world of Call of Duty: Ghosts while he was speaking only in the most general terms about the first party's remarks, and leave it at that.

The most useful nugget of information games to come out that over the first year of life and one Xbox, is expected to release 15 first party titles, and eight of them were entirely new franchise. It's impossible to speculate on what these new features are (with a few exceptions such as the Kinect-based title Ryse CRYTEK), but the revelation also means that it will be considered seven franchises, which was held between 2013 and the fall of the fall of 2014. What those might be?

We already know one of them: Forza Motorsport 5. Something new in each of the halo and universes gears of war seem like a given, as does the new central dance. Lionhead Studios' Fable franchise is a likely contender. The campaign is certainly very possible, as is FIFA بي. Perhaps the new Banjo game? Or the killer instinct? There is no way of knowing at this point, but these are all privileges might want to start thinking again.
