Today launched carmaker Ford is one of the most awaited car of the year, Ford EcoSport, at a starting price of Rs. 5.59 lakh.
Will Ford EcoSport be the available with three engine options - 1 liter petrol motor shows, and 1.5-liter gasoline fuel Ti-VCT, and 1.5-liter TDCi diesel. The 1.5 T-VCT have the option of dual-clutch automatic gearbox six-speed (the same one at the feast), while the rest of the variables will sport five-speed manual.

Ford India is betting big on a new compact sport utility vehicle, which is a second-generation version of the model that has been developed in Brazil and launched for the first time in South America in 2003.
"We expect to be EcoSport change the rules of the game for Ford in India, as well as setting the standard in the Indian car industry," company chairman and managing director Joginder Singh in a release.
Mr. Singh said the company has already started taking bookings for car delivery will start from today.

Ford India has invested $ 142 million in Chennai plant to manufacture EcoSport.
The company said that the EcoSport will play an important role in its aggressive global plan to achieve an increase of 50 per cent in sales worldwide by mid-decade to eight million vehicles a year. It is expected to contribute 60-70 per cent to the objective of the Asia-Pacific and Africa.
Ford India has already put in plans to export EcoSport to about 40 countries, which will begin within a few months of its launch in the local market.
Ford India to invest $ 1000000000 to set up a production facility and the second in Sanand which will be ready by the year 2014. The plant will have a production capacity composite of 2.4 lakh vehicles and 2.7 lakh engines annually.
With the completion of the Sanand plant in Gujarat, Ford India will have a total installed capacity of rolling out 4.4 lakh vehicles and 6.1 lakh engines every year.
