James Gandolfini 'was given first aid' at Italian hotel


He died James Gandulveni, American actor best known for his role as a remedy seeking mob boss in The Sopranos, at the age of 51.

A friend of the family Michael Kobold died Gandulveni, of a heart attack while on holiday in Rome.

"Last night at around 10pm James Gandulveni, while on holiday in Rome, witnessed a medical emergency," said Mr. Kobold.

"I have taken this hotel notified the emergency crew who responded and were administered first aid before Mr. Gandulveni to the hospital where he died of a heart attack phenomenon."
