OBCs break the caste barrier in JEE-advanced


Mumbai: OBCS even spread in the performance charts. When it took about 1.26 lakh brightest high school graduates in the JEE (Advanced) on Sunday, it turned out to be almost the same number of open category students and OBC candidates were vying to get into the Image Intensifier tubes.

Training institutes which analyzed the papers and agreed that the questions were simple physics but it was more rigorous mathematics and chemistry, and there was little of the very difficult questions. A total of 4,000 students sat for JEE (Advanced) from 14 centers in Mumbai and its satellite city of Navi Mumbai. Advanced JEE was conducted in 95 cities across India and one center abroad in the United Arab Emirates. This is the first year of this exam is going on, after the change in the admissions process by MHRD. Of the 1.2 million candidates who registered for the examination JEE-Main, it was only the top 1,50,000 students eligible to take the JEE Advanced examination for admission to the 13 Image Intensifier tubes and ISM-Dhanbad. Exam results will be out on June 23. After the scan JEE candidates developed, and will be accepted in the Image Intensifier tubes, provided that they are within the 20 percentile Top of the students in their respective Council.

There are 9,647 seats in 15 university Image Intensifier tubes, Dhanbad IT-BHU and ISM while the number of university seats in the 30 nits of the country, including 15 678 seats in the new.
