The woman claimed that Angamaly Jose Thettayil, MLA, and his son Adarsh Thettayil had sexually assaulted her over a year.
A woman, a resident of Manjapra, filed a complaint against the police chief, Aluva rural, on Sunday afternoon.

Women alleged in the complaint that she had been romantically involved with Adarsh and had sexually assaulted her after promising to marry her.
Adarsh, who now works in Mumbai, raping her for nearly a year and was the last cases of assault in October 2012, claimed. And MLA, she said, had abused her after approaching her and her fiance's father.
Police said that they have videographic evidence to prove that both father and son had abused her. She had been filmed using a webcam assault after he suspected that Adarsh was trying to avoid her, police said. Police said they had not yet received videos, but that the allegations will be considered.
Has been the case under Section 376 of the Indian Penal Code, which deals with punishment for rape.
